This is a file exporter for Blender, allowing
users to export static .lta models. These
models can then be opened in ModelEdit and
then saved as .abc files.
The exporter is based on the code written by
Josh Lory, and fixes the issues with multiple
vertex being written for one physical vertex.
The effects are better shown here:

Download it, and enjoy.

 Eh, Blender doesn't have the friendliest UI, I'll give you that. That's why the good tutorials first cover
the UI in itself.
Anyways, if you plan to make a simple prop, you can use it. Anyways, props to Josh Lory, for his original exporter.

The update consists in exporting multiple parts. That's right, you can now have models containing several mesh parts, and you can now export them.
Download it, and enjoy.

I installed blender, and installed the plug in. Thank you!
So far so good. Imported Enterprise D :P

Other Starfleet ships available, and also Star Gate and Battle Star Galaktica Models.

I tried the exporter, and it told me to make triangles first.

After about an hour I now give up, before I get aggressive.

One "tiny" problem.

I fail at getting into edit mode.

I will try to read more of the ... manual, the only thing I do understand.
When I select all, everything is pink, and not in Edit mode, if I understand this weird method of entering edit mode right.

Lets call the interface a challenge

Mabey though, I can't go to edit mode with this model ?
There is this small windows were you can select modes, but it only shows object mode to select, nothing else.

I will have to get used to this to me, weird interface, but this program, with the lta exporter, is great.
