You should have your game updated to version 1.0.9.6 and have installed the master server patch 1.5.2.
Join a normal server as in one not running custom maps or mods. |

Resources differ error means that either you or the server is running something different from the other; such as a mod/map, etc.
Make sure you're not running any mods and try joining some normal servers. See what happens. |

I don't have McAfee, but usually those security programs have a setting in which you can tell the antivirus not to scan a particular folder or files. Try that.
I would never use McAfee though. |
